Here, the time is ample, loyalty legendary, hospitality mind boggling and life the simplest. It dwells different tribes namely Hill Miri, Idu Mishmi, Khampti, Monpa etc. The simple tribes, bucolic lifestyles, organic food habits, amazing customs, incredible traditions make the environmental existence of the unsullied terrain perfect.

ANJAW cover an area of 8’600 Sq. Km with a population of 18’428 is one of the newest district of the state, created on 16th February 2004.
