There are several places of tourist attraction in Arunachal Pradesh, the prominent are as follows, the World War-II Cemetery at Jairampur (Changlang District) where you can display truthful reverence to the brave soldiers who lies here, be courageous for the excruciating trip to Sela Pass (Tawang District) at the height of 14 ’215 feet above sea level (the second highest Pass in the world).
Enjoy the demonstration of beautiful butterflies enjoying their careless flight in the first and only Butterfly Conservation Area of India in Jairampur measuring 70 hectares. Visit the Tawang Monastery, the largest and second oldest (built in 1681 A.D) in Asia. Explore the historical Itafort in Papumpare District built by Ahoms in 1360. Survey the Fortress of Bhishmarknagar in Dibang Valley built by King Bhishmaka in 12th Century. Wander in the ruins of Malinithan Temple in Likabali built in 14th-15th century. Stroll audaciously on the Asia’s longest Bailey Suspension Bridge over the river Deopani. The glimpses of 7500 species of orchids in Tipi Orchidarium (the largest orchadarium in Asia) will fascinate, go on a pilgrim at Parashuram Kund (Lohit). Enjoy the breathtaking Nuranang Waterfall in West Kameng. Boat in the serene environment of Mysterious Lake of No returns (Pangsau Pass). Cross the mightiest Siang River in a ferry. Set off for rafting in notorious Siang River. Venture through the snow capped mountains of Vijaynagar (Changlang District). Drive through the Historical Stilwell road from Jairampur (Changlang District) to Pangsau Pass (Myanmar). Leave the traces of your photographic exploits in the Namdapha National Park (Changlang District) where the four cats i.e. Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, and snow leopard are found. Play with the disobedient hillock gibbons at Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary, gaze birds of different colors and species at Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary (East Kameng), pay homage to the Indian soldiers who gave their life for our better tomorrow at Jaswant Garh War Memorial (Tawang District), and meet, share laughter’s with the inmate orphan children of Manjushree Vidyapeeth Orphanage (Tawang).
